CCDCap is FREE capture software that comes with your camera purchase. PHD is FREE autoguiding software from www.stark-labs.com. QGVideo is FREE video capture software for the QHY5 camera.

QHY5 and KWIQ System Camera
You will need to download the generic system driver for the QHY5 camera as well as software to use it as an autoguider. Included here are plug-ins for MaximDL and AstroArt. We highly recommend PHD by Craig Stark for autoguiding. The latter is a freeware package dedicated to autoguiding. If using PHD, install it first, then install the generic QHY5 driver.

We highly recommend Nebulosity by Craig Stark www.stark-labs.com. This inexpensive capture software has many excellent features, and it integrates seamlessly with PHD guide software. A free trial version can be downloaded from the website.

Right Click on the driver below to download/install.

The QHY8 IO driver needs to be replaced (uninstall ALL old QHY8 drivers before installing the new one). After installing the system drivers, the application drivers need to be replaced.
