The QHY9 - A highly sensitive 8.6 megapixel Monochrome CCD!
 
The QHY9 makes large format monochrome CCD imaging affordable at last. This outstanding 8.6 mpixel camera features 5.4 micron pixels with additional binning modes of 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4. The chip is slightly smaller than the APS QHY8 but still very large as monochrome sensors go. At 19.7 x 15 mm it provides wide fields of view. It's small pixels are an excellent matchup for short apo refractors.

The QHY9 can be purchased with or without the QHY Color Filter Wheel. With regulated cooling, and a built-in shutter, it is easy to configure the QHY9 and filter wheel for fully automated LRGB or line filtered imaging sequences.
