Our KWIQ Guider package greatly simplifies the task of autoguiding by packaging the camera, optics and mounting hardware into a compact, easy to aim system that is always in focus.

The KWIQ Guider offers a 2 degree field of view. It's excellent sensitivity virtually ensures you will always find a guide star. It resolves centroid positions by means of software to approximately 0.06 arc seconds so you can guide virtually any imaging focal length with high precision.

The KWIQ Guider easily handles sub-arc second imaging scales. It does not require counter balancing or special tools to operate. It is the perfect guiding solution for fork mounted SCT users, but is definitely not limited to SCT use.

KWIQ Optics for the Orion Solitaire Autoguider
Our KWIQ optical package works with our own QHY5 guider, the Orion Starshoot and other brands of cameras. We now offer an optical package specifically designed for the Orion Solitaire autoguider. Just attach one of these cameras to our optical kit and you're on your way to precise autoguiding!

Software - Fully ASCOM Compatible
The KWIQ Guider works with PHD and other FREEWARE guiding software as well as the major commercial imaging software packages, including MaximDL and CCDSoft. The KWIQ Guider connects directly to the autoguider port of ST4 compatible mounts. No extra adapters or cables are needed.

Numerous Mounting Solutions are Available to Fit Any Imaging Rig

The Standard Package Uses Synta Mounting Stalk and Saddle. This package provides good stability, neglibile flexure and makes aiming the autoguider a very simple task.

VIXEN Bracket: Vixen Brackets come in short (shown) and tall. They permit a very rigid mounting of the KWIQ guider camera and optics using 6 set screws.

ADM Finder Ring Solution: ADM finder rings hold the KWIQ guider with excellent rigidity. The rings can be mounted to Synta/Vixen standard dovetails, Losmandy D-style dovetails, and to ADMs own MDS system.

Antares DTB50 Mounting Rings and Saddle offer easy adjustment and solid support for the KWIQ Guider package.

The KWIQ Guider optics can be fitted to a variety of mounting brackets. Please contact us for details if you have a unique mounting requirement.
