Canon UV/IR Filter Replacement Services

KW Telescope offers modification services for selected Canon DSLR cameras. Modification greatly increases the camera sensitivity to hydrogen-alpha wavelenghts resulting in higher signal from planetary and emission nebulae.

We also sell the replacement filters for those who wish to perform their own camera modifications. These are UV/IR cut filters that greatly improve transmission at the h-alpha wavelength. The filters are thickness matched to the original Canon filters so you can use your modified camera with Canon autofocus lenses and with our FotoSharp digital focusing adapter.
