finest photographs of celestial objects you may ever see!
Book now for the week of May 11 - 16th, 2009.
KW
Telescope and volunteers from the KW Centre of the Royal
Astronomical Society are pleased to invite you to visit
our open house activities during the week of May 11 to May
16th, 2009. The open house is part of our week long celebration
of the International Year of Astronomy.
Both
public and group open houses include guided tours of our
facility with emphasis on viewing the contest winning photos
submitted by astrophotographers from across Canada.
Open house invitations are offered to Grade 6 and Grade
9 students in the Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and Cambridge
areas. Other grades are welcome to book tours, too.
Groups and businesses are also invited to book tours. We
would be particularly pleased to host tours for businesses
which in the past have invited us for Lunch-and-Learn Seminars.
The
general public is invited to visit at any time during the
week (other than during the Main Event on the evening of
Friday May 15th as this event is reserved for invited guests
and members of the media).
THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR TOURS AND NO ADMISSION FEES TO VIEW
THE ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY. Everyone is welcome!
To
book a tour please contact Dr. Johnson via phone (519-745-5757)
or via email (bradyj@kwtelescope.com).
